‘The Children’s Ceremony’ is an apt name for this piece, the second to be taken from pianist and composer Bruno Sanfilippo’s forthcoming new album 'Ver Sacrum'. Bright and playful, there’s a definite childlike wonder to the music. And depth too, thanks to the wonderous, soaring strings of Laura Masotto (Violin) and Antonio Cortesi (Cello). It conjures sunlight streaming through a stained glass window, and feelings of hope mixed with serenity.
